At Stanmore Bay Dental a holistic approach is considered. This is especially true when restoring teeth and caring for gums. No mercury-based fillings are used. We also offer ‘safe’ amalgam removal if you are concerned. This includes use of rubber dam, full cover of exposed skin local scavenger of spray from mouth. Nasal Oxygen and ORAL DMPS which is said to attach itself to heavy metals and allow them to be carried from the body. Note there is and remains a lot of controversy around the role of heavy metals in dentistry, but ultimately it is your choice, but do your research and we will respect your decisions.

Implants From $3500
Note Stanmore Bay is currently working with an off-shore dental provider with European trained surgeons who are offering an implant for $NZ350. Add return airfares at $800 that is a total of under $3000 for the trip, implant and crown. Go enjoy a 2 week holiday and come back and get the top placed a few weeks later. The process:- Locally a CT scan is ordered, taken and reported professionally. Moulds and photos taken and this package is sent to the surgeons involved. When you arrive they are prepared and can reduce waiting time. Most times post-surgery discomfort is minimal.so you can safely go about a holiday. Talk to us regarding this. This is especially valid if you need more than a single implant.
